Red Hat's Enterprise Architect courses provide in-depth, hands-on training for senior Linux system administrators responsible for deploying and managing many systems in large enterprise environments. About the RHCA-Level Exams

To earn RHCA certification, you must demonstrate a depth and breadth of knowledge across Red Hat technologies. You must pass any five of the higher-level exams for Red Hat Certificates of Expertise and/or associated RHCA prerequisite certifications.

• Only current RHCEs are eligible to be certified as RHCAs, while anyone can attend the courses or take exams in this track.

Red Hat® Certified JBoss Administration Exam - RHCJA (EX248K)

Earn your Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification by passing a performance-based test that measures actual competency on live systems. Called the "crown jewel of Linux certifications," RHCE certification proves your ability to configure networking services and security on servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. A prerequisite for Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification, the RHCE is a mid-level certification for administrators who support Linux as a primary server platform in their environment. You must have your RHCSA certification before testing for your RHCE certification.

About the RHCE Exam

To earn RHCE certification, you must demonstrate the skills required to successfully administer Linux. The 3.5-hour hands-on RHCE exam is performance-based, meaning that you must perform tasks on a live system rather than answering multiple-choice questions. The RHCE exam can be bundled with a class or purchased separately (EX300). Individual Exam Sessions are also available (EX300K), providing you the flexibility to take the exam on a preferred date and time.

The RHCE exam objectives provide authoritative guidance on the knowledge and skills you will need to demonstrate in the RHCE exam. They also provide more specific information on the exam format and coverage.

Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA) is the only performance-based certification in its category, continuing the Red Hat tradition of benchmarking the skills of IT professionals through hands-on skills assessments.
